WHAT IS IT THAT YOU HAVE BEEN PUTTING OFF? IF YOU ARE WAITING FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO DO IT, IT’S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
There is power shut up in you — power that the world is waiting for you to share it.
Do you have notebook pages of thoughts that you want to put into a book or some poetry that you have been crafting in the wee hours of the morning? What about pattern pieces that have been cut out and even pinned but never sewn. How many business plans have you written and talked about but never took the first step to launch?
We do it all the time; we talk about what we need to do or are preparing to do, but we allow excuses and procrastination to stop us in our tracks.

I love Proverbs because, in my opinion, it tells it just as it is — straight no chaser. Consider what Proverbs 13:4 says about procrastination: “The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.”
We are almost half way through the year, and some of us are still in a stuck place. The funny thing is, most of us have jobs, or had jobs, that we report to faithfully, even when we don’t feel like it. Yet when it comes to our own dreams and goals, we don’t approach it with the same vigor. I’m not suggesting that we not work our jobs; for most of us, work is necessary. But what about all the hours when you are not working?
I dare you to change that course right now. Repurpose some of the time you spend doing things without purpose and become intentional about what you know is the call on your life, that one thing that you just can’t get away from, regardless of what else is happening. That is your purpose.
We still have a little more than half of this year left. Will you take the challenge and step up and begin the steps toward what the Lord has called you to do? The world is waiting.
